She graduated with a bachelors degree in graphic design from California State University, Northridge.

Ann's credits include poems in magazines and several anthologies. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and currently serves as the Critique Group Coordinator for the Central-Coastal California region.
